Recommend with enthusiasm!,
I met Philippe at his book signing ceremony in Hong Kong in April, 2011, and ended up having a good chat with him afterwards. Philippe had been a veteran investment banker with deep knowledge of the IPO process. I recommend his book with enthusiasm! |An IPO book that tells it how it is,
The best book on IPOs I have read by far. First, it’s global in its outlook, not just confined to the US. It’s also the only book I have read on the subject that talks about IPOs in Asia, which is fast becoming the premier market for new equity issues. Second, it looks at the entire process, from the decision to go public, to the appointment of banks, documentation, valuation and marketing issues – right down to stabilization and aftermarket management. The book is written by an ex-ECM banker and it certainly shows. A great read for my team.

|Best guide to the IPO process on the market,
In this comprehensive and thorough book, Mr Espinasse has distilled the IPO process into a practical guide that will help newcomers and experienced market practitioners alike. Other books dealing with this subject are either too academic or too general – “IPO: A Global Guide” hits the right balance between these two extremes and is a valuable resource – I would recommend it.
